Redefining the idea of an open space, this loggia addition is integral to the luxurious feel of the property. The challenge; however, was to protect the adjacent interior spaces as we worked to tie the new structure into the existing.
Construction of the loggia included new helical pilings and pile cap foundations, preservation of adjacent coral paving, stainless steel structural columns concealed by decorative precast concrete columns, structural concrete beams and suspended slab, stucco cornice, stone paving, step lights, wrought aluminum railing, and new impact doors. Open, airy – and protected.
